CozyLocation: Localized rental search and landlord management app
CozyLocation, developed by Emerson Yougbare, targets everyday housing searches and property management in Burkina Faso. It combines tenant and landlord workflows so a single account can switch between seeker and manager profiles. The app offers localized filters for utilities such as ONEA and Cashpower, plus one-click visit booking and direct messaging. This setup suits renters, landlords, and local agents who need region-specific criteria and simple scheduling inside a single Android application.
Designed to solve the local housing search routine
The app defines its core role as matching housing seekers with certified owners within Burkina Faso, focusing on apartments, villas, and studios. It addresses daily search friction by presenting localized criteria: users can filter listings for ONEA counters, Cashpower availability, borehole access, and courtyard types. Those specifics map directly to typical tenant concerns in cities like Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso, making the tool practical for routine apartment hunting.
Combines tenant and manager workflows into one account
The '1 Account, 2 Profiles' system removes the need for separate sign-ins by letting one user flip between Tenant mode and Manager mode. For property professionals the app supplies a dashboard that tracks listing views and visit requests. Practical outcomes include unified contact details, faster permission changes for listings, and less profile juggling for users who both rent and list properties.
Handles communication and viewings with in-app scheduling
The app embeds a direct messaging channel that connects seekers to certified landlords, and it supports one-click visit booking with push confirmations. Those two features coordinate the viewing workflow: messages secure initial contact, while scheduled appointments appear as real-time notifications. Daily benefit comes from reduced back-and-forth calls and a single place to confirm or adjust visit times.
Local focus and privacy controls aimed at trust
The app emphasizes verified connections between users and owners to reduce reliance on unvetted listings, and it uses in-app messaging rather than exposing external contact details. Notifications inform users of new listings in chosen neighborhoods and appointment updates. For users concerned about data handling, the app's structure implies account-based controls over listings and communications rather than public posting of owner contacts.
To sum up, a practical local tool for Burkina Faso housing searches
CozyLocation is a focused choice for renters and landlords who need region-aware search filters and integrated scheduling in a single Android app. It suits anyone who prefers verified owner contacts and in-app visit booking; less suitable for users seeking listings outside Burkina Faso or broad international compatibility. Pro tip: enable push notifications to catch new neighborhood listings and appointment confirmations promptly.
